New Jersey , the current line up is : Matt Kerestesy -vocals and guitar Josh Webb -guitar Brian Morello -guitar Rob Smith -bass Ramses Chavez -drums Louis Rodriguez -backup vocals the original lineup is the same except Dave Williams was the drummer and we didnt have a backup singer. How would you classify your music. ? Matt- right on the border of metal and hardcore. Josh-metal. Brian-I second that. Do you all have day jobs.? Brian -I make pizzas. Josh-tying fishing lures Matt-I do all different shit How did the band get together ? Matt-me, Dave and Rob had a band going and then Josh wanted to start a band so I started playing bass and Dave played drums, but we still had the other band together then one day the band with me Dave and Rob jammed and Josh came over to check us out, well he started jamming with us and we just clicked so we stuck with it, we've had a few different singers and names. then one day I decided I wanted to sing so we got another guitar player ,Brian, and started writing and thats about it. What are your musical backgrounds ? Josh - we've all been playing our instruments for around 3 years. Matt -except me i've been playing bass for 3 but guitar for a year and a half. What kind of music do you like to listen to when your not playing ? Matt -Sepultura, Nothingface, Willhaven, Six Feet Deep and shit like that. Josh - Sepultura, Deftones, old Metallica, and Pantera. anything with a groove. Brian -Neil Young, Limp Bizkit, Suicide Machines, Bad Religion, Coal Chamber, Type O Negative anything that kicks ass. What do you do to relax ? Josh -sleep,chill,practice Matt-skate and play basketball If you had the chance to jam with any band, who would that be ? Matt & Josh -Sepultura. Brian -Guns N' Roses. Whats the best thing that has ever happened to you ? Josh -finding a new drummer after we lost Dave. Whats the worst thing that has ever happened to you ? Matt -losing Dave. Who thought of the bands name and how did you choose it ? Matt -I did, I just put 2 words together, and it sounded cool so we went with it, it doesnt really mean anything. Which are your personal favorite songs and why ? Brian -Stuck by Limp Bizkit, because it makes me wanna beat the shit out of people and the lyrics are cool. Josh -Propaganda by Sepultura,because of its raw power and it gives me a rush. Matt -Tears Of Blood by Biohazard, because Biohazard rules. Do you play many gigs and if so where ? Matt -right now none, we are still working with our new drummer but pretty soon we'll be playing. What is your view of the music scene in New Jersey ? Matt -there is no music scene. Josh -it sucks. Brian -it sucks cause all the bands around here are phony dead head wannabe's or cover bands. What bands would you say have had most influence on you ? Josh -our older stuff is more Sepultura, Biohazard and Nothingface and the newer stuff is more around Sixfeetdeep,Will Haven more hardcore shit. What are your plans for the future ?
